Rev. Larrie Lovett was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist of Brownsville on April 1, 1995. Before accepting the call to ministry, he faithfully served his country in the United States Navy as a Cryptological Technician Operator.
Pastor Lovett is known for his powerful preaching, passion for leadership development, and heart for counseling. He carries a deep commitment to shepherding a congregation where biblical truth is embraced, Christ-centered fellowship is encouraged, and members are inspired to meet the needs of others while connecting them to the body of Christ. Every time he stands to preach, Pastor Lovett approaches the pulpit with reverence, striving to deliver a message that is both relevant and transformative.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Lovett treasures his family. He has been joyfully married to his wife, the former Andrea P. Griffin, and together they are blessed with six children: Stephanie (McWhorter), Courtney (Reed), Larrie III, Bryan, Andre, and Melissa.
